NECPA

Accreditations

We are not just state certified for child care, we are currently working on meeting the more rigorous standards of ACCREDITATION established and monitored by the National Early Childhood Program (NECPA), an independent third party professional association. By following these standards we know our teachers are always receiving an advance level of training, which directly benefits your child. Soon, We will be the only open enrollment center in the area that is both state licensed and nationally accredited.

What is NECPA? - The National Early Childhood Program Accreditation (NECPA) is an independent, voluntary accreditation program which has several components. The first is a thorough self-assessment of the program by management, staff, and parents to determine how closely the NECPA standards are being met. The second component is an action plan to address weaknesses. The third component is an on-site visit by a trained NECPA Verifier. And the fourth component is a review by the NECPA National Accreditation Council. The process is self-paced.

Our Teachers

Our caregivers are carefully selected, trained, and regularly evaluated. Every member of our staff is trained in CPR and basic First Aid. All totaled, we have over 150 years of childcare experience. We also require our Lead Teachers to have a 2-year college degree and several are studying at UNM-VC. We support the professional development of our staff with tuition assistance. In the child care profession, there is a trend of teacher turnover. We minimize this by offering benefits to our employees and work steadily at maintaining staff morale.
